Xpress WorkWear, a customized workwear printer, has been established since 2015. The founder has managed to create accounts with 2000 SMEs across the United Kingdom having a strong sales-led approach. The company currently operates from Blackburn. We were approached to suggest ideas about how we could lead the digital transformation of the business.
The company was relying solely on the execution of its outbound sales team to generate new leads. This meant that each new sales executive joining the team would need weeks of training before they start generating sales. Secondly, the MD had tried to outsource the development of the e-commerce site to an India-based developer.
However, this particular team wasn’t able to deliver on some of the complex pricing features of the application, which were vital for the e-commerce shop to generate sales.
We solved the problem the business was facing by creating an e-commerce solution which serves the purpose of allowing businesses to order custom workwear through a web-based shop. The solution must take into account a customised pricing feature which allows for bulk pricing and set-up costs for uploading new logos. Customers are now able to choose where they would like their logo applying; what colours and quantities they would like; and prices are generated in real-time without having the need to speak to an account executive. The benefit have been two folds: City workwear is now able to focus on executing their inbound marketing strategy which is fuelling their growth. Secondly, businesses which were skeptical buying from a business without a web presence are no longer afraid.
